Rescue Me - Carrot Dick

"Rescue Me" is a dark show but it can also be hilarious. This scene could work in "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", another great FX show. Steve Pasquale, who plays Garrity, is a good actor. I'm anxious to see what he does post "Rescue Me".

Real People, Fake Arms

From a recent "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon". Fallon has a problem keeping a straight face but I can't really blame him. His set up of the sketch and Will Ferrell's ability to just steamroll through it are funny and would be hard to just take.

$240 Worth of Pudding - The State

"The State" isn't revered as much as "The Kids in the Hall", but I think it was every bit as funny and it's cast has gone on to bigger and better things. Thomas Lennon, Michael Ian Black, and Ken Marino are always funny. Ken Marino has been especially brilliant lately in "Party Down".

The Phil Silvers Show - Bilko's Black Magic

Not strictly a sketch but it plays like one. Silver's timing is amazing. I wish Comedy Central still aired the reruns.

The 3 Haircuts

It's interesting seeing how early rock and roll was parodied by its contemporaries. I'm guessing this was from "Your Show of Shows", which would put it between 1950 and 1954.
