Does anyone else remember The Hudson Brothers Show? I loved the show as a 7 year old. I especially loved Chucky Margolis. I had one of their records with a Chucky Margolis sketch on it and I can still repeat it almost word for word.

I remember this interview for Tom's quick little look at the camera when he describes his family and friends as "just regular folks" in Part 3 and his Slappy White story and impression in Part 5.

Mark Wahlberg has a sense of humor about himself. It's a great quality.

I just thought of this too. Could Mark be his generation's Kurt Russell or Dennis Quaid? An actor so likable and believable as an every man that you don't care about his lack of serious chops.

I was just talking to someone this afternoon about this sketch. Hanks is THE best SNL host. He really threw himself into the show. I wonder how he would have been as a permanent cast member.
